I've checked to make sure sequence settings are set to 24fps which they are. by Richard Herd. 7 and let the timeline be auto-adjusted to fit the clips. You will have issues whether you’re shooting at 23. Basically, what you could test is import a 24fps video, set the timeline to 30fps,make some cuts (especially trimming out the start), and then export. Render at a lower framerate : Hollywood movies play at 24 fps Lower the convergence target to around 20% Lower the maximum samples to 150. If you render an animation at 24 fps, then the only way to make the video look natural (not sped up or slowed down), is to play them back at a rate of 24 images a second. Essentially 24fps rendered to 30fps is 20% shorter so you need add the 20% back. For the most part I am happy with this decision, however now that I am editing, there are a few clips that I want to keep in regular speed (100%). A few weeks back I spoke about one of the advantages of mobile videographer. It is best to shoot in 1440 mode, 48fps, ProTune on, and White Balance RAW. It's 24fps in my original animation clip;but 60fps in my mecanim preview;and what's strange enough, the timeline in the mecanim preview is abuout 30fps,with a little offset. Author Topic: Is 24fps the most universal frame rate? (Read 3273 times) It seems to me that's just as easy (or hard) as converting from 24fps to 30fps. Generally speaking, you just drop a 60fps clip onto a 24fps timeline to get slo-mo. The only compression format within that broad spectrum which would appear to allow 24 fps, however, is Sorensen video. This is actually completely incorrect. I personally dislike those frame rates as I just don't think they look nearly as good as. This does not mean your movie will be output at 30 FPS. Well, as I say, you'd have to slow down the 30fps footage to fit into the 24fps timeline.
